I'm Count DookuI'm Count Dooku!

Liquid Generation has The Ultimate Star Wars Personality Test available for the taking.

As you can see, I turned out to be Count Dooku. Formerly good, now bad. But still, I'm Machiavellian, and I can use the Force to shoot lightning out of my hands!

That's odd. Most of my friends would have guessed Jar Jar!

Where Should I Live?

Joplin, MOJoplin, MO

I took a little online quiz a couple weeks ago that provides you with "a tailored list of America's best places to live that expertly fit your personal style and needs."

The site that gives these quizzes is FindYourSpot.com. After you answer various questions about your thoughts on climate, culture, education, recreation, lifestyle, religion, taxes, and geography. It then suggests 24 cities for you. You can click on your results to obtain further information about each city.

I know that you, the reader, are likely much less interested in which cities are on my list, and much more interested on heading to Find Your Spot and seeing what cities it offers you. Well, long story short, it's my blog, so here is my list:

  1. Joplin, MO
  2. Clarksville, TN
  3. Amarillo, TX
  4. Hampton, VA
  5. Abilene, TX
  6. Norfolk, VA
  7. Murray, KY
  8. Oklahoma City, OK
  9. Tulsa, OK
  10. Berea, KY
  11. Salisbury, NC
  12. Alpine, TX
  13. Greenville, NC
  14. Rocky Mount-Stony Creek, NC
  15. Louisville, KY
  16. Woodbury, TN
  17. Lynchburg, VA
  18. Knoxville, TN
  19. Durham, NC
  20. Hickory, NC
  21. Enid, OK
  22. Nashville, TN
  23. Lubbock, TX
  24. Bowling Green, KY

When i specified a preference to live in the northeastern U.S., I received the following results. Keep in mind that the preference does not rule out cities outside of that region, but it does bump them down the list quite a ways. My top 9 cities still appeared in the list. Of course, even my first northeastern preference didn't make the original top 24, likely because I noted a preference for a mild climate with neither very hot summers nor cold, snowy winters. Cold, snowy winters are precisely what I have experienced every single winter of my life. Oh, and I also mentioned something about lower taxes, which rules out New York and most of the other liberal northeastern states.

  1. Easton, PA
  2. Harrisburg, PA
  3. Long Island, NY
  4. Joplin, MO
  5. Clarksville, TN
  6. Amarillo, TX
  7. Carlisle, PA
  8. Lancaster, PA
  9. Hampton, VA
  10. Syracuse, NY
  11. Jamestown, NY
  12. Augusta, ME
  13. Altoona, PA
  14. Philadelphia, PA
  15. Abilene, TX
  16. Norfolk, VA
  17. Murray, KY
  18. Manhattan, NY
  19. Johnstown, PA
  20. Carnegie, PA
  21. Oklahoma City, OK
  22. Albany, NY
  23. Tulsa, OK
  24. NYC, NY

So, that's me in a nutshell. Now go play outside.
